 At Tweeddale Surfacing Contractors, we take your privacy seriously.
But really. Seriously.

We will not divulge your personal details to anyone, and we will not share or sell your contact information, such as your phone number or email address, with anyone without obtaining your permission first.

Only information relevant to the work you wish to be carried out will be asked of you. We may retain some of your details, for example phone number, email address and jobsite address; again - this information will not be shared with anyone else absent your express permission.

We generally don’t send marketing emails or newsletters but may, in pressing circumstances, email you unsolicited.

Financial details, particularly project costings, will also be held in confidence.

To update our portfolio and records we may take photos and/or videos of the work being undertaken - we will seek to reasonably anonymise such media. This media may also be used on our social media channels and for promotional purposes.

Terms of Service

1: We reserve the right to refuse our services, in whole or part, with any party at any time. This clause will not be exercised without reasonable cause but will remain at our discretion.

1.1 We believe good time-keeping is a basic life essential and strive to always be punctual, from quote appointments to job completion. However, there may be instances beyond our control (including but not limited to weather events, traffic conditions, natural disasters etc) which may impact on our ability to render services. Should this happen we will communicate with you promptly and seek to re-arrange with you

2: We will always endeavor to conduct ourselves & work to the very highest professional standard, and treat everyone with respect. However if you feel this is not been the case, we welcome the chance to make things right. Please get in touch with your concern right away so we can do this.

3: Up-front deposits may be required for a variety of operational reasons; these will need to be received in full by the date indicated upon a deposit invoice, or your job may not proceed & your booking time may be forfeit

3.1: Deposits are generally non-refundable. However upon job completion, the amount payed as deposit will be deducted from your final invoice.

4: Invoices are typically due for payment within five (5) working days of invoice issue as dated unless, by prior agreement, a differing payment interval has been agreed

4.1: Should your invoice be unpaid past the agreed date, contact will be established as to why & when funds can be payed. Until satisfactorily resolved we reserve the right to escalate through any and all legal avenues to this end. You may be liable for all costs incurred in recovering payment

5: Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances may arise whilst we are carrying out work for you. We will always communicate with you promptly & clearly and seek to work with you towards the best resolution.

6: Depending on the work, we may need you to clear the jobsite for us by removing personal affects, furniture, decorative elements etc. We will be clear and upfront should this be the case

6.1: Should this not be done, we may charge for additional time required to prepare the jobsite for work to proceed.

7: Our work is covered by both public liability insurance and our personal workmanship guarantee. As a result of our actions, should we accidentally cause damage to either a) your property incidental to the work or
b) as a result of our actions fail to achieve the agreed work standard, we will take responsibility to make things right and will endeavor to do so. Our liability insurance provides assurance in the rare, extreme event something should go drastically awry.
